Harbor Light Content Group is a professional book design and publishing company dedicated to helping Christian authors, industry professionals, and organizations present their work with clarity, excellence, and integrity.

Founded by publishing professionals with decades of hands-on experience, Harbor Light Content Group exists to serve those who care deeply about their message and want their books—and publishing projects—to be taken seriously in an increasingly crowded marketplace. Our work supports first-time authors, established and bestselling writers, as well as publishing teams and organizations seeking to elevate the quality and reach of their materials.

We do not operate as a high-volume design or automated production service. Every project is approached individually, with careful attention to content, structure, and presentation—ensuring each book is positioned with intention, professionalism, and long-term purpose.


Harbor Light Content Group operates across three distinct publishing pathways:

  2. We offer co-publishing partnerships for those seeking collaborative, industry-level book publishing
  3. We serve as a traditional publisher for select, high-level trade publishing projects.  


Experience That Matters


The founders of Harbor Light Content Group bring a combined 42 years of publishing industry experience to every project.

That experience spans traditional publishing, independent publishing, book design, interior layout, editorial coordination, project management, and author education—contributing to over 500 professionally developed books across a wide range of genres and publishing models.

This depth of experience allows us to confidently guide authors through complex publishing decisions while also enabling our team to contribute to high-end, quality-driven projects within the broader publishing and media landscape. Our work is rooted in real international trade standards, proven processes, and professional expectations—not theory.

Cathy Sanders has been actively involved in writing and publishing since 2008, working with over 500 authors across a wide range of projects. Her expertise includes project management, interior layout design, professional cover design, ebook conversion, and post-production, along with guiding authors through the publishing process as a coach and advisor. As both a writer and collaborator, she has written or co-written eight books, with articles featured in outlets such as Ministry Today, Elijah List, and SpiritFuel. Cathy is especially known for helping first-time authors navigate publishing with clarity and confidence.


Together, Andy and Cathy co-founded 5 Fold Media, where they worked on over 500 books between 1999 and 2023, contributing across editing, design, layout, and publishing support. Their combined experience forms the foundation of Harbor Light Content Group’s approach—blending creative excellence with strategic structure to produce high-quality, market-ready books.


In addition to her publishing work, Cathy is the founder of Fishin’ Girl, a professional beach fishing guide, and leader of a community of over 17,000 women anglers. She is also a worship leader and psalmist with three albums of original music.


At Harbor Light Content Group, Andy and Cathy lead with a shared commitment to clarity, integrity, and excellence—helping authors bring meaningful messages to life through a publishing process that is both professionally guided and strategically sound.
